Mastering Ogres Part 1

So, this is going to be a bit of a retroactive on the team I recently took to the Colosseum Cup in Bedworth. But, I''m gonna go through the days with them because I think there is more to learn and space to be a better ogre coach, especially on days when I am not unusually blessed by the Bone ''Ed dice.

So. Ogres get 1200, 10 skills chosen, 2 of which can be secondary skills, a single player can have 2 skills and I am allowed to trade 3 skill choices for a star player.

Options and why I chose Ogres.

So, I have a fairly wide stable of teams, I could take time explaining how I spent time trying to make the most powerful team available from the comp pack and settle on Ogres somehow...

Spoiler: I didn''t.

I looked down the list of teams and chose what appeared to be objectively the worst team available, because it got the most help from the TO. I planned on breaking back into my first tournament in years with a team I could throw dice (and Gnoblars) about with, have a blast, and not really care about the W/L ratio.

I will admit, that I did nearly run Imperial Nobility at this event, and I did have a look into them because it looked like I''d missed my chance to get my ogres 3D printed before the seller went on holiday. But the prints arrived, and I was able to happily paint up my Fat Bois!

Thanks for reading part one. I know it''s currently a little short, but I didn''t do much agonising over the team selection, I think I spent more time deciding between 3D printed or GW official minis for my team, than what I wanted to take!
